1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing the CRO Audits website (croaudits.com) or using the CRO Audits platform (app.croaudits.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. CRO Audits is a product of Addison Applications. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the website or the platform.

2. The Service

CRO Audits is a software-as-a-service platform that audits web pages for conversion rate optimization. Audits run automated checks against a snapshot of your page and produce a score and prioritized findings. Depending on your plan, the service includes single-page audits, full-domain audits, analytics connectors, scheduled audits, notifications, and score history.

The service provides automated analysis and recommendations. It is not a consulting engagement, and no bespoke deliverables, calls, or implementation work are included.

3. Accounts and Plans

  • An account is required to run audits. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • The Free plan includes limited single-page audits at no cost.
  • The Pro plan is a monthly subscription (currently $99 USD/month) with higher limits and additional features, as described on our pricing page.
  • Plan limits (domains, audits per month, pages per audit) are enforced by the platform and may be adjusted; material changes will be reflected on the pricing page.

4. Billing, Trials, and Cancellation

  • Pro subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. We do not store your card details.
  • Where a free trial is offered, you will not be charged until the trial ends; cancel before it ends to avoid charges.
  • You may cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Pro access until then.
  • Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable; contact us if you believe you've been billed in error.
  • Prices may change with notice; changes apply from your next billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to audit only websites you own or are authorized to analyze, and not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or to analyze sites in violation of their terms
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or interfere with its operation or security
  • Resell, scrape, or systematically extract the service or its output without permission
  • Circumvent plan limits or abuse free accounts

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Connected Accounts

If you connect third-party accounts (such as Google Analytics 4 or Google Ads), you grant us read-only access to that data solely to provide the service — for example, generating your funnel overview. Connector tokens are stored encrypted, and you can disconnect a connector at any time, which stops further access.

7. Intellectual Property

  • Audit reports, scores, and findings generated for your account are yours to use for your business.
  • We retain all rights to the platform, its rubric and methodology, and may use anonymized, aggregated usage data to improve the service.
  • All content on the CRO Audits website (blog posts, tools, design) remains our intellectual property.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our website content without written permission.

8. Confidentiality and Data

We treat your account data, connected analytics data, and audit results as confidential and will not share them with third parties except as needed to operate the service (e.g., cloud hosting and payment processing) or as required by law. 9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The service provides automated recommendations based on objective checks and AI-assisted analysis. We do not guarantee specific results, revenue increases, or conversion rate improvements. Actual results depend on implementation quality, market conditions, and many factors outside our control. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CRO Audits and Addison Applications shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amounts you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CRO Audits, Addison Applications, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service, the sites you submit for auditing, or violation of these terms.

11. Website Use

When using our website, you agree not to:

  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site
  • Interfere with the site's operation or security
  • Scrape, crawl, or collect data from the site without permission
  • Submit false or misleading information through our forms

12. Termination

You may stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service; where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to export your data.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in California.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the website or service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
